Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Protection

Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Protection

Within the stated topics, students receive fundamental theoretical knowledge with references to industry-specific regulations, reference materials, and international best practices.

As a practical case, the Action Plan for HSE measures of a typical offshore project is examined in detail.

Knowledge consolidation assumes independent work with the regulatory and reference documents covered in the course, all of which are available in the materials (Recommended Reading section).

All regulatory documents are provided for reference only, and during self-study students are advised to verify the current status of cited standards in a public information system: on the official website of the national standardization body of the Russian Federation or using the annual index “National Standards” as of 1 January of the current year and the monthly “National Standards” bulletins for the current year.
